Abstract Chlorinated dibenzothiophenes can cause environmental problems analogous to chlorinated dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans. In the analysis of chlorinated dibenzodioxins by gas chromatography—mass spectrometry some unknown chlorinated compounds have been found. The chlorinated dibenzothiophenes have the same m/z values as the corresponding dioxins in low-resolution mass spectrometry and they are found in same planar aromatic compound fraction in alumina and carbon column chromatography. Abstract Background P-glycoprotein (P-gp), an efflux transporter of the blood–brain barrier, limits the access of multiple xenobiotics to the central nervous system (CNS). Thus drug-dependent inhibition, induction or genetic variation of P-gp impacts drug therapy. Methods We investigated atypical antipsychotics and their interaction with P-gp. [EN] In the last two decades, the construction of composite indicators to measure and compare multidimensional phenomena in a broad spectrum of domains has increased considerably. Different methodological approaches are used to summarise huge datasets of information in a single figure. This paper proposes a new approach that consists in computing a multicriteria composite performance interval based on different aggregation rules.
